Every year APPC rescues and receives more than 450 injured, orphaned and sick wild animals due to habitat loss, illegal trafficking and poaching, with sloths representing more than 35% of the species that are rescued. Over these 18 years, we have rehabilitated more than 6,000 wild animals, including more than 1,000 sloths.
Animal in care need their daily food and medical supplies. Furthermore, medical treatment, and in some cases surgery, is still needed to save the lives of some animals. Your donation will also be use to buy special milk formulas, fruits, vegetables, medicine, supplements, materials, and veterinary supplies for our animals, including many orphaned sloths.
